In 2001, Salud y Paz was founded by one dentist, who worked out of a small clinic in Camanchaj. Since then, the project has grown to include many programs vital to helping achieve our mission of providing health, healing, and education to the Guatemalan people. Three medical clinics, an early education center, a women’s education program, and a surgery program are already affecting the lives of the Guatemalan people. In the next few years, Salud y Paz plans to open a Regional Health Center to better serve the comprehensive community health care and educational needs of the people served at the Camanchaj site.  For more information on our programs, explore the links below.
